Brooke’s Media Bio

Brooke Adams Law is an award-winning author and founder of the Writing Brave movement. Brooke helps creative, intuitive women claim their author identity so that they can start, finish and publish brave, dazzling books.

Brooke’s debut novel Catchlight won the Fairfield Book Prize, was named a Best Indie Book of 2020 by Kirkus Reviews, and was featured on Good Morning America’s blog.

Brooke grew up in Philadelphia and came from a family of entrepreneurs who weren’t college-educated. (Her mom graduated with a bachelor’s degree when Brooke was nineteen.) Brooke studied English at Vassar College and went on to receive her MFA in creative writing at Fairfield University.

Brooke is famous for teaching a juicy, receptive, Divine-Feminine-inspired creative process that has inspired her clients to write and finish books they love, find new layers of richness in their original book ideas, and give birth to their most empowered creative selves.

Brooke spends her professional time coaching her book clients, writing her own novel, and running the publishing arm of her business, Writing Brave Press. In her personal time, you can find her reading in the backyard, chasing after her two small kids at the playground, advocating for gun violence prevention, and drinking a lot of fruit smoothies.

You can visit Brooke’s website at www.wearewritingbrave.com and sign up for the Writing Brave newsletter. Brooke is available to help clients in every stage of the book-writing process: getting started and organizing ideas; maintaining momentum during the drafting and revising phase; providing laser-focused developmental editing; and offering hybrid publishing services.
