What kinds of books do you publish?

In the past, we have published memoirs, personal development and business books, novels, and select custom projects. We are not currently taking on additional projects for publication.

What IS a hybrid publisher, anyway?

We step into the space between traditional and self-publishing. You get the expertise and credibility of working with a professional team to produce your book, while retaining the bonuses of self-publishing (which include creative control, complete ownership of the rights to your book, and a MUCH quicker turnaround time than traditional publishing).

How long does a publishing project with Writing Brave Press take?

From the moment you submit your finished manuscript and sign a contract, your book will be ready to launch in about 8-9 months. (In contrast, traditional publishing can take 2-3 years.)

How does the money work?

You pay upfront for the production of your book (see our packages below), and you keep 100% of the profits from the sale of your book. No complicated royalties.

Full project management: Our book production manager handles every task associated with your book’s production, including creating your customized project plan
Professional graphic design: Bring your completed vision workbook to our first design meeting and we’ll handle the rest:
- Beautifully designed cover
- Fully designed interior
- Conversion to eBook format
Nuts & bolts. Our team will:
- Set up your Amazon profile, optimized for SEO
- Ensure you’ve got all the pieces you need for your book (dedication, copyright page, acknowledgements, headshots, and more)
- Register your book for copyright
- Purchase barcodes and ISBNs
- Upload all files to the print-on-demand platform
- Help you create your Goodreads page
- Troubleshoot as needed {we’re good at this, and there’s still a lot of troubleshooting ;) - rest assured we’ve got you covered!}
Marketing plan support:
- Our team will help you outline your customized marketing plan (in a 90-minute session)
- Get access to sample book launch plans, podcast pitches and opt-in pages to get your book launch off to a strong start
